For various size drilling tools, onlyneed to change relevant top sealand face seal including blind ram,other element are universal.

Floating performance of the ram is good.Because the ram seat (ram holder) and the ram body(block) are separated, the ram can move slightly in the holder to ensure positive alignment ofthe rubber faces as face seal contact occurs.

There is 3mm installing clearance between theram body and the ram seat.

When shutting off the ram, the holder extruded top rubberdistorted to bulge up to enhance effectiveness of sealing and reduces the wear of the ramrubbers

The shear ram consists of the upper and lower ram block, top seal, right seal, left

seal and front seal. The front seal is in the front groove of the upper ram body with

right and left seal at its two sides.

➢ Under normal condition, it is used as the blind ram, and as the shear ram in case of

emergency;

➢ The blade will not be damaged after shearing the drill stem for several times. Worn

blade can be repaired and reused; the blade and the ram body are integrated; the

front seal of shear ram has a big sealing area with the blade, efficiently reducing the

pressure on the rubber seal and extending the service life.

When the closing pressure for hydraulic control is ≤21MPa, the drill pipe at level of 5″ G-105

PSL-1 and the thickness at 9.19 mm can be sheared; It can seal the maximum working

pressure.

The variable diameter ram is comprised of variable diameter ram block, top seal and the front

variable diameter rubber core. The variable diameter ram in the BOP has the same

installation method with common ram. None of any part of BOP has to be changed.
