Pneumatic Slip

Counter torque: The pneumatic slip provides counter torque capacities of 20 kN·m, 55 kN·m, and 75 kN·m depending on the model. The slips apply downward pressure to securely hold the pipe string, eliminating the need for backup tongs during makeup and breakout.

Safety and reliability: The tripping operation uses one elevator link per elevator, eliminating the risk of accidents associated with single elevator link usage in double-elevator operations.

Ease of operation: The slip is controlled from the driller’s cabin, reducing time spent on tripping and casing operations.

Air jet for mud clearance: An air jet feature can be added to ensure wellhead cleanliness during tripping operations;
