Annular preventers provide flexible sealing capabilities under a wide range of tubular sizes and shapes.
RIGRS Annular BOP Features:Multi-durometer elastomer packer (HNBR, Aflas, or FKM for HPHT);Equivalent sealing performance to Shaffer Spherical and Hydril GK/GX configurations;Uniform radial compression for longer packer life;Improved steel-reinforcement geometry for cyclic fatigue resistance;Optional NACE MR0175 anti-sulfide metallurgy.
Blowout Preventer typical applications:Wellhead sealing during connections;Stripping operations;Running casing or drill pipe through pressure.
Advantages:Universal sealing capability,Emergency well control flexibility,Fast actuation,Reliable elastomer elements.
Typical Pressure Ratings: 2,000–10,000 psi (some 15,000 psi models)
1.2 Ram BOP (Cameron, NOV, Shaffer Style Interchangeability)
Ram-type preventers provide mechanical sealing or cutting functions.
Dongrui Ram Modules Include:Pipe Rams – matching Cameron U/UL patterns;Blind Rams – high-pressure metal-to-metal sealing;Blind-Shear Rams – capable of cutting drill pipe up to 5″ S-135 class;Variable Bore Rams – compatible with Cameron VBR sizing standards.
Dongrui Blowout Preventer Brand Compatibility:Cameron U, UL, Type 70;Shaffer LWS, LXT rams;NOV T-90, T-120, HTX profiles;GE / Vetco Gray ram geometries.
Applications:Emergency well shut-in;Pipe shearing under full pressure;Isolating annulus during kick circulation.
Pressure Ratings: up to 20,000 psi (deepwater class).
